Editorial visits are unannounced and paid for by the editor. No restaurant can purchase a visit, a score, a quote, or a place on a list. Where an editor has a personal, financial, employment, client, sponsor or collaboration relationship with a restaurant, that relationship is disclosed on the relevant page and the editor recuses from scoring it.
